Aadhar Enrollment Center

Government of every country keeps track of its citizens and for this establish an organization to perform this task. But as we know, it is not an easy task to control huge population from one office or location. In order to cope with this problem, Government opens centers in various location. These centers provide registration, updating and issuance of certificates for citizenship. These are also called Enrollment Centre.

In India, enrollment process is given to a Government associated entity called Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). From a single umbrella, UIDAI cannot perform all the task of enrollment. Soo, this entity controls the registration of the people via Aadhar Enrollment Centers.
Actually, the functions of Aadhar Enrollment Center are:

1. Enrolling residents for Aadhar,
2. Scrutiny documents of residents,
3. Collecting resident's demographic data,
4. Collecting biometric data of residents that comply with UIDAI enrollment procedure.

Objectives of Aadhar Enrollment Centre

Like any other enrollment agency, the main objective of Aadhar Enrollment Centre is to get enrolled new applicants for Aadhar and to provide exclusive help & support for any change in Aadhar details. Before visiting any center, please carry supporting documents to ensure work gets completed with any hassle.

Best of all, there is no fees applicable for first time task in the center. This is to ensure that maximum number of people are enrolled in the Aadhar. However any subsequent change can be done after paying nominal fees. These rates for such fees are approved by UIDAI, so that no fraud can be done with people.

Aadhar Enrollment Centre is a nice step by the Government to make the registration process easy, efficient and reachable to the general public. You can easily get your Aadhar Card through these centers but make sure your application does not get rejected on grounds such as missing of documents and supply of incorrect data. Normally, following documents are required for obtaining aadhar card or eaadhar card:

Passport
Ration
Voter identification card
PAN card / Permanent Account Number
PDS Photo card
License of Arms
Kisan Photo Passbook
CGHS Photo Card
NREGS job card
Certificate of marriage

Apart from above documents, we have reports that people have used 03 months electricity bill, 03 months credit card statement and driving license. UIDAI only wants to verify the authenticity of the applicant. So, any document that verifies his or her identity can be accepted for Aadhar registration. The overall aim is to provide simple and easy services to the people without putting them in trouble.

People often blame Aadhar Enrollment Centre for non-delivery of card. In most of the cases, Centers are not responsible for this non delivery. The applicant must double check the address on their submitted documents. The Aadhar Card is delivered to the same address mentioned on supporting documents. If your present address is different from the address mentioned on the papers, then how you can expect that you will get your card. You cannot blame Aadhar Centre for your own negligence.
